The Importance of Arabic Translation Interpreters and Their Growth
The art of translation – this is the process of decoding messages received in an unfamiliar tongue into a comprehensible language that a prospective addressee can grasp. We use translation in order to determine as clearly as possible what a certain document refers to, and what facts it is linked with. We implement translation in order to make sense of what every word is invested with. Emigration waves from Portugal who were hired by representatives of the lower class industrial north left their homeland for the USA and some of the former colonial countries among which we should note Brazil. After amassing a lot of wealth some of these emigrants return to Portugal and populate the land.
It would be worth comparing the Portuguese language to the other Iberian languages, Spanish, Catalan and Asturian. A large number of literary works, both prose and verse distinguish Portuguese literature as original, rich and influential. Significantly, most of these works have been translated into various languages worldwide.
Portuguese literature and culture were significantly influenced by the Arabs. Just like the Portuguese, the Arabs were also great conquerors which turned Arabic Translator into a significant communication means between colonies and oppressors. The area where now are situated Portugal and Spain was occupied by the Moors, north African Arabs, between the early 9th and 16h century. But the Arabs, unlike other colonizers did not repress the intellectual capacity of their colonies. Translation developed considerably throughout this period due to the thriving among all religious and ethnic communities on the Peninsula. In fact, the occupation of the Moors during this long period of peace and prosperity shaped what is today the Portuguese language. Modern Portuguese abounds in vocabulary that is borrowed from Arabic.
Another language influenced by Arabic, though not for the same reasons, is French. Due to the large number of conquered countries in Africa, the French language acquired a lot of the Arabic language vocabulary. Among them we can point out Senegal, Gabon, Chad, French Somalia and Madagascar. When France granted independence to most of these countries many of their citizens started to flood France and nowadays they comprise the major ethnic minority group.. It is true that the Arab culture has been highly influential on the French. Elsewhere in the world French has been widely used either as an official or second language, e.g. Monaco and Switzerland in Europe, Benin and Burkina Faso in Africa, and Lebanon in Asia. Furthermore, French has had a great impact on former French colonies as well as other countries like Andorra in Europe where it is spoken but not official and Algeria in Africa where it is unofficial but widely used, and in the United States where it is a minority language in states like Vermont and Maine. In other words whether an official or a second language French is one of the most extensively used languages of the world.
