Ways I Can Recover My File In Three Easy Steps

It may happen to anybody who utilize a computer. With a simple sequence of fairly harmless actions we can delete our important files in the computer. What exactly basic steps can I take to recover my file ? If you follow these actions you can increase your odds of having the capacity to recover deleted files. Please read on to find out the ways I used to recover my file in 3 actions.

Step one is to minimise the amount of new data you store on the drive in question. You should do this because the data will most likely still be on your disk. In simple terms, files are stored in varying sized chunks at different locations all over your disk. This allows for much more efficient use of the available storage space. When your files are deleted the various ‘chunks’ of disk space associated with the file are simply no nonger protected from being rewritten. You will however, need to avoid leaving currently open files unsaved so create a temporary folder on a memory stick or drive and then save any open work to it.

Finish this step rapidly, correctly and completely. This is essential. If it isn’t done correctly, for whatever reason, then you might end up losing even more files!

The 2nd step is to verify that you actually have deleted the file. Seems silly but quite frequently we end up saving the document someplace else by mistake or perhaps under a different name. The best method to do this is to fire up the program you have been using and look at the recent files in the main menu (this is normally situated under ‘file’ in the top menu. If the particular file is there you can usually see the filepath by hovering over the relevant filename. It is worth trying to open the file at this point just to make sure whether the file still exists at that location. If it does then your issue is solved.

The last step is to attempt to recover deleted files. This calls for some special software which can find the chunks of data on the disk and string all of them back together again. The software package I selected is quick to download and install and moderately simple to use. You can also download it for free and use it to locate the deleted file before you pay anything. You then have to pay a license fee (one time) to recover the deleted files. This is very important since you do not have to pay anything if the file can not be recovered for any reason. What is very important to avoid is waiting for too long before you try to recover your file.

Just keep to the steps as specified and you should not have any problems copying how I managed to recover my file easily and rapidly as well. Just keep to the stages in order, for the reasons as explained, while carefully avoiding the traps, problems and potential mistakes mentioned. Then you will be able to trace the steps I used to recover my file and get your precious data back.
